Chamomile or camomile is the common name for several daisy like plants of the family Asteraracea 
and used to make herb infusions to serve medicinal purposes. There are many different species of chamomile cultivated. One of them is German chamomile and another one is Roman chamomile.They have been used since ancient times for their calming and inflammatory properties and each offer their own addition health benefits. Chamomile is native of many countries throughout Europe and are cultivated in such countries Germany, Egypt, Moracco.  Chamomile oil is an essential oil extracted from the chamomile flower. The extract oil from the plants most manufacturers use steam distillation. The amount of oil each plant yields depends on the variety.  The oil serves many medicinal purposes but one of the best documented uses is for relaxation. The oil has a calming effect on people and can be used to help induce sleep.  The oil has anti bacterial properties and can help to clean and protect wounds from infections. The oil can apply on skin problems cure easily. One or two drops oil in a glass of water should be sufficient for using as a mouth wash or ingesting for stomach problems. The scent of the essential oil can be inhaled as a form of aromatheraphy. The oil can be vaporize for aromatheraphy use. In addition to medicinal use chamomile enjoys wide usage especially in Europe and US as a beverage tea and as an ingredient in numerous and external
preparations. While chamomile essential oil is generally quite safely used by people of all ages it is not recommended for those who are pregnant.
German chamomile is a sweet scented branching plant whose tiny leaves are twice divided into thin linear segments. The flowers up to one inch hollow cone shaped with tiny yellow disk flowers covering the cone. The cone is surrounded by 10 to 20 white down curving ray flowers.  Roman chamomile on the other hand has a spreading habit and grows only about a foot high leaves are twice are thrice divided into linear segments. The flowers are also up to an inch across but its disk is a broader conical shape. Also has a white ray flowers but the appearance of little yellow buttons.  In Coimbatore a few more places we have to see this farms. In house surroundings mostly cultivated this plant for attraction. In temples and festivals this flowers mostly used. Ladies and studying girls liked this flowers too much. Also in functions mostly decorated with this flowers. 

Health benefits of chamomile tea----1, Treats cuts and wounds.  Chamomile tea was used by the Greeks, Romans and Egyptians as a solve for wounds. It worked especially burn wounds. 2.Helps for diabetes. Some research has shown that chamomile can help suffering from diabetes.  3.The anti bacterial effects of drinking chamomile tea can help to prevent and treat cold. 4.Drinking chamomile tea raised levels of glycine a compound that claims muscle spasms. 5.The herb is a wonderful for soothing an upset stomach. 6.Drinking chamomile control the nervous system so that we can sleep better. 7.Chamomile oinment can help to relieve hemorrohids. 8.It is very likely that chamomile tea can help reduce cancerous cells. 9.With its anti inflammatory and anti septic properties chamomile helps in cleaning up skin irritations such as eczema, acne and allergies.  How to prepare chamomile tea?  Pouring hot water over the leaves, stems and roots of plants you can make your own chamomile tea. One tablespoon of dried herb per cup of water poor boiling water over the herbs and allow to sleep about 5 minutes strain and enjoy.  So all we agree that chamomile is medicinal flower and medicinal plant.
