                   Cow is not only a pet animal also gives great income for humans. Worldwide cows have a most important place for making eaten foods. Cow gives us milk. It is gods gift for humanity.Because milk contains rich energy and rich calcium.Grass is main food for cows also feeds manufactured by humans. Cows are members of the order Artiodactyla.  Cows belongs to the family BOVIDAE which includes buffaloes and spiral horned antilope. The size and weight a cow is highly depentent its breed .Matured males weigh 450-1800kg. Both males and females have horns.  Some breeds hornless.                              Cows are well adapted for grazing feeding grass. Adults have 32 teeth. Cows are currently the most common domesticated hooped mammal and they are found wherever humans live.  Global stocks of cows where estimated at nearly one billion animals in 2016, with India, Brazil and China having the largest population. Cows were first domesticated between 8000 and 10000 years ago. Cows were first domesticated as all purpose animals used as draft animals and also for their milk and meat products. Cows are used by humans in many other ways such as a source of leather.               
 
                                                     All mammals produce milk to feed their young but dairy cattle such as the well known Hoistein.   Friesian cow have been specially bred to produce very large quantities of milk.Since only female produce milk they are for more common in the dairy industry. Milk from cow is a significant part of many food items.It is used to make a wide range of products including butter cheese and ice creams. Dairy cows produce milk for around 10 months following the birth of the calf.In Scotland dairy cattle breeds known as Agrshire in Switcherland Brownswiss and in UK, Australia  breeds are known as Guerhsey. In South america, Netherlands breeds called as Freisien. Jersy and Redpoll are other items.                                                                                                                                                                                  In Tamilnadu cows compared as a equalent of god. Worship cows as like a god in tamil community. Tamil poet Bharathi said,-Pasu miga nallathadi pappa-in his song. Pongal festival celebrated as for cows.At that time all of the tamil people worship themselves for their family.Not only in Tamilnadu whole indians have a great opinion for cows and care about those living things.In villages mostly cows have a part of a family. Also it is a pet animal for here.Milk from cow give comfortable life. So all of us give salute for cows always.
