Rats are various medium sized long tailed rodents of the super family Muroidea. Scientific name Rattus. The most important of which to humans are the black rat and the other one is brown rat. Rats found all over the world except Antartica area because of climate. The rat is the first of the twelve animals of the Chineese Zodiac. In Indian tradition rats are seen as the vehicle of lord Ganesha and the rats statue is always found in temple of Ganesha. Rats frequently blamed for damaging food supplies and other goods or spreading disease.  Here are some features about rats. Four rats have to eat 100 kilo grains in an year averagely. Two rats multiply 100 rats in an year. In our country 30 rats born in every second. A rat can alive 7 days without water. Also without food for 2 days. 1cm gap is enough for rat to go through. Eye sight is low but hearing value is high. Also smell value is another highest one . Rats jump at average of 2 feet high. We have to know some symbols if rat is there such as shining soil, rats motion, oily surface and more. In India rats found all over. In Tamilnadu rats occupy every home mostly. Rats also a pet one for somebody but these rats are not a friend for agriculture. 
These rats are main enemy for agriculture. Farmers have to kill these rats because rats spoiled grains, vegetables fruits like tomato and more. The grain storage places have to arrange a cage monument to kill the rats. Also the pet animal cat control the rats. Mixed the eaten food with Zinc Phosphide is another method for control rats. Another chemical named Varparin is mixed with water and this is also controlled rats. Aluminium Phosphide tablets are also controlled. Just like that Borate 10 G 2.5 gram mixed with 10 litter water is fulled in its live places they can be killed. Carbon Monaxide gas is also controlled the rats growth. Another one more thing we know is that these precautions are only for rats so we have safe and use these chemicals for control the rats life cycle. Rats are more active in night time than the day time. They all smell the food and taste it for night time mostly. Rice, sweets, vegetables, fruits are the favorite food items. Also in the fields paddy, maize tomato are its live places. So we have to take keen interest for killing rats and save agriculture. Every farmer do these awarness rats do not have a way to spoil food and food items. To fix rat killers in many places is also control rats. Pet animal cat also control the growth of rat family. If cat alive any place rat does not go that place. So we control rats and develop agriculture.
