Sericulture , or  silk farming , is the rearing of  silkworms  for the production of  silk . Although there are several commercial species of silkworms, Bombyx mori  (the caterpillar of the domesticated silk moth) is the most widely used and intensively studied silkworm. Silk was first produced in China as early as the  Neolithic  period. [1]  Sericulture has become an important  cottage industry  in countries such as  Brazil ,  China ,  France ,  India , Italy ,  Japan , Korea, and Russia. Today, China and India are the two main producers, with more than 60% of the world's annual production.       According to confucian text the discovery of silk production dates to about 2700BC.Now we go to see what is silk worm,,,Silk warm larvae are fed with mulberry leaves.Mulberry leaves only they eat.  Milk  is a pale liquid produced by the  mammary glands  of  mammals . It is the primary source of  nutrition  for infant mammals before they are able to  digest  other types of food. Early- lactation  milk contains  colostrum , antibodies  to its young and can reduce the risk of many diseases.
