Parrot is one of the colorful bird shown in subtropical region.Variable size of parrots in various colors found all over the world. The diets of parrots were seeds,nuts,fruits,buds and plant materials. The nests of parrots are free hollows of trees. They are founded in old trees. Commonly they lay white eggs. Parrots along with Corvidae family that means crow family. They have more exploitation than any other group of birds. Origins of South America. Also Gondwana. Several fairly complete skeleton of parrots like birds found in England. Germany parrots have strong feet with two toes facing forward and two back with sharp elongated claws which are used for climbing and swinging. Most of these birds are capable of capture their food and other objects with a high degree dexterity. It is a similar manner that human using their hands. They used foot to pick up food. Parrots have their habit of left handed but some times some of them used right footed. In the variety of Electus parrots male used left foot and female used right foot. Parrots have been kept a cage bird since ancient times. Parrots imitate many sounds including human speech.Like man woman and child voices in their sound. These birds have blunted tongue. The family Pscittaciade largest sub family found world wide. Various sub groups such as Macaw, Parakee,  Conure and love bird. African gray parrot is unsurpassed as a talker. The parrots lived about 80 years in their life. Gray parrots are common in rain forest. Amazon parrots lived in tropical regions such like West Indies, Mexico and Nrthern South America. They are blue fore head yellow or blue crown a yellow face and red shoulders. Yellow crown parrots are mostly seen in Mexico, Central America, Ecuadar and Brazil. Also Brazil parrots are red wing and yellow tail. The green parrots known as Monk is one of the hardiest parrot species. It is native to South America. The variety Lories have short tail while Lorikeets with long tail. The other sub families such as Loriinae, New Guinea, Beek and Nectar. The sub family Nestorinae is found only in New Zealand. Another one Strigopinae seen in Stewart Island. The sea parrot is called Puffin. Also called Bottle nose or Sea Parrot.



The parrots found in our country were mostly green in color. In Tamilnadu also green parrots are the main birds found all places. These are good pets and they have to make mimic words as human speech. Some of the people catch the parrot and earn with this speech like human. Astrology of parrot is an important event in many places. It is called 'Kili Josium' These concept is a surprise and also an astrology concept. Put a single cage, inside the parrot do this magical event. This event make by some peoples teaching technology. Also some people kept in cage and enjoy with this bird.
